Hi Geof, would it be worth signing up for any Canadian or UK content, or is it purely US papers?

Many thanks,
Diane

Thanks for your question Diane. I asked the GenealogyBank.com company and they replied by saying that it is currently only U.S. newspapers.

Is there any similar site for British newspapers??Neil Arundel

Is it possible to see a directory listing of the newspapers available and the dates for each before signing up for a subscription? I would hate to sign up and then find out there are no newspapers for the towns my ancestors lived in (at least for the ancestors I am most interested in researching).

Thanks!

Marion - yes, this is possible. In the Historical Newspapers section on their home page, they have a new "view title list" link. Click on it and it will tell you the localities and the time periods that are covered.
