Tuesday's Tip - Edit Toolbar (Beginner)

TT - Edit Toolbar

Tuesday's Tips provide brief how-to's to help you learn to use the Legacy Family Tree software with new tricks and techniques.

Edit Toolbar (Beginner)

This Toolbar is used when you want to edit existing data as opposed to adding new data.

This toolbar will look different depending on what you have set in Options > Customize > View > 8.14 Prompt Style (gbl). If you have it set as Traditional, this is what you will see:

If you have the option set to Gender-Neutral, this is what you will see:

Notice that Husband and Wife have been replaced by Right Spouse and Left Spouse.

This toolbar is pretty self-explanatory but make sure that you notice that there are down arrows next to two of the Unlink options which will give you an additional drop down menu.

Next time we will take a look at the Add Toolbar.
